Brittany Gervais
BSW, RSW
I grew up in small town Saskatchewan and moved to Saskatoon to complete my Bachelor of Social Work. I spent a decade working in the health sector and have been in private practice since 2018. I completed the Master of Social Work Program and incorporate the wisdom from this experience into my counselling practice.
As a therapist, I believe that you are the expert on you and my role is to guide and support you. Together, we will co-create what therapy looks like for you. I believe tools to help us cope and heal are everywhere- nature, laughter, intuition, moving our body, journaling, etc.- and so I pull from all of these during sessions. Since we naturally tend to focus on our challenges, I make it a priority to highlight your strengths, opportunities, and growth.
I am a proud member of the Gabriel Dumont Métis Local #11. Some things that bring me the greatest joy are my children, martial arts, writing, and a good belly laugh. I am grateful to walk alongside others as they tune into their own guidance and grow through life’s many transitions.
Currently accepting clients who are 16 years and older.
